What is the difference between the Sony Memory Stick PRO and the Memory Stick PRO DUO?

Can I use my Memory Stick PRO (MagicGate) that I bought in 2005 with the current Cybershot cameras that use Memory Stick PRO Duo .

I don’t think so since the memory stick pro is larger than a memory stick pro duo. I know there is an adapter available to use memory stick pro duo in older memory stick pro devices. Check out the link below for detailed information on memory stick pro duo.
